Maya becomes impossible for Veer to ignore.
She is admired as a darbar dancer but remains subject to the kingdom's rules. Veer watches from the protected side of those rules—until admiration becomes attachment.
Enter Maya & Veer's past →They choose each other in secret.
The relationship crosses rank, duty and the king's authority. The lovers understand discovery would be dangerous. They underestimate how dangerous.
Their future survives in moonlit gardens, hidden corridors and promises no court would recognise.
Maya becomes pregnant with Veer's child.
The child changes the political meaning of their love. What could once be dismissed as scandal can now survive into the royal bloodline. To Maya and Veer, the daughter is their future. To the king, she is a threat.
The king tells Neo to kill Maya.
The command survives in Neo's memory. What he did next disappeared with the kingdom. From this moment, the story's deepest secret belongs to him.
The missing night belongs to Neo →The known story goes dark.
Years become decades. Decades become centuries. The kingdom falls, its witnesses vanish and the official record ends. But the daughter's interrupted life does not.
The daughter returns as Ananya.
The child Maya was carrying is reborn in another century with a new name, a modern life and no conscious memory of the palace. Dance arrives before memory—the first visible thread between both eras.
Follow Ananya now →Neo tells Ananya about Maya.
He reveals the dancer, the prince, the pregnancy and the king's command. Suddenly Ananya is not hearing an ancient romance. She is hearing the story of the life that should have been hers.
Where the known story stops
The king gave the order. The daughter returned. Between those two facts lies the choice Neo has not yet revealed.
